A political conspiracy against RSS

The concept of Hindu terror is nothing but a political conspiracy against the Sangh and its senior leaders. The intention of the entire drama is to implicate RSS leaders. This is not the first time that such allegations are being made.

Swami Aseemanand, accused in the blasts in the Samjhauta Express, Hyderabad Mecca Masjid and Ajmer Dargah, has alleged that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had sanctioned these attacks, reported a magazine.

NIA sources say during probe Aseemanand did not name any senior RSS leader. ( India Today Report Feb 6, 2014 )

' The Caravan’, A magazine of Delhi Press Mentioning Aseemanand claimed that the attacks on the Samjhauta Express, Hyderabad’s Mecca Masjid and Ajmer Dargah, and the blasts in Malegaon in 2006 and 2008, were cleared by the highest levels of the RSS.

Meanwhile, Swamy Aseemanand’s lawyer also rejected the Caravan report and denied that the interview ever took place. He has warned a legal action against the magazine.

Swami Aseemanand emphatically denies to have had any close door meeting with senior leaders of the alleged social organization i.e. RSS in year 2005 or afterwards. Swami Aseemanand challenges the correspondent to prove the truth of the allegations or apologize forthwith. Source: VSK

Ganesh Sovani, an advocate for Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, an accused in the Malegaon case, said, “The ultimate objective of such probes is to ban the RSS. The Congress through the NIA will do whatever it takes to get the RSS banned.”

Sushil Kumar Shinde, Digvijay Singh asked to Bhavesh Patel to Implicate RSS :
Ajmer Blast Accused Bhavesh Patel alleged that National Investigation Agency was allowed to probe him inside the Alwar central jail illegally. “I am under pressure to implicate my co-accused and the NIA has been dictating terms to me,” he said.
The accusations have come after he wrote a letter to the CBI saying that he was pressured by Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh and others to implicate the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the case.
Prior to Patel’s allegations, two other accused Mukesh Vasani and Raj Singh had accused the NIA of offering them Rs 1 crore to name RSS leaders in the Sunil Joshi murder case.

Senior advocate and former state public prosecutor of Karnataka H S Chandramouli said, “The CBI or any other agency cannot brush aside such allegations. The CBI is likely to interrogate Narendra Modi’s aide Amit Shah in the Ishrat Jahan encounter case on the basis of allegations made by jailed IPS officer D G Vanzara. So why should the same rule of law not apply here?  The law mandates that every allegation be probed.”

Now look at the evidence, first on the blast on Samjhauta Express from Pakistan in which 68 persons were killed.

LeT culprit, says UN, US
“Qasmani Arif chief coordinator of the relations of [LeT] with other organizations...has worked with Lashkar-e-Tayyiba to facilitate terrorist attacks including.....the bombing of February 2007 in the Samjhauta Express in Panipat (India).” This is what resolution [No 1267] of the Committee on Sanctions of the United Nations Security Council [UNSC] dated 29.6.2009 declares. Adding that Qasmani was funded by Dawood Ibrahim and he did fund raising for LeT and Al-Qaida, the UNSC said: “In exchange for their support, Al-Qaida provided support staff for the bombing in February 2007 in the Samjhauta Express in Panipat.” This resolution is available on UN site. The UNSC & the US Treasury department thus named that LeT, Qasmani and Dawood Ibrahim as accused in Samjhauta terror. This is just beginning of the torrent of evidence pointing to LeT and Pakistan.

Pak minister’s confession
Six months after the UN and the US announced sanctions against LeT and Qasmani, the Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Mallik himself admitted that Pakistani terrorists were involved in the Samjhauta blast, but with a rider that “some Pakistan-based Islamists had been hired by Lt Col Purohit to carry out the Samjhauta Express attack.” [India Today Online 24.1.2010]

Headley involved in Samjhauta – US probe
Not just UN or US Treasury or just the admission of Pakistan’s interior minister, in fact, independent investigation in US revealed more. Some ten months later, Sebastian Rotella, a US journalist, wrote in his investigative report titled, “U.S. agencies were forewarned about suspect in 2008 Mumbai bombings” that Faiza Outalha, the third of wife of David Coleman Headley had confessed [in 2008, that was made public in 2010] that Headley was involved in Samjhauta blast.

Narco test pointed to SIMI role

Even at the start of the Samjhauta investigation in 2007 itself the probe evidence had clearly pointed to the role of Students Islamic Movement of India [SIMI] and LeT. India Today [19.9.2008] in its report titled ‘Pak hand in Mumbai train blast’s, Samjhauta Express blasts, says Nagori gave meticulous account of the involvement of LeT and Pakistan in the Samjhauta terror. The report was based on narco test testimonies of SIMI leaders. India Today said that narcotic tests were carried out in Bangalore, in April 2007, three months after the Samjhauta blast.
it revealed that SIMI activists had executed the Samjhauta blast, with the help of the Pakistani nationals from across the border; while Nagori was not directly involved, two members of SIMI Ehtesham Siddiqui and Nasir were directly involved; SIMI members, including Nagori’s brother Kamaruddin, were involved in the Samjhatua blast.

Conspiracy by Maharastra police?
Why were these clinching pieces of evidence not pursued? How the blame shifted from Islamists to Hindus? Some elements in the Maharashtra police appears to have colluded in linking Malegaon 2008 blast to the Samjhauta blast.

When leads were thus pointing to Pakistan and SIMI as partners in Samjhauta blast, in November 2008, as an anti climax, the Maharashtra Anti Terror Squad [ATS] shockingly told the Special Court through the public prosecutor, that Col Purohit, allegedly involved in the Malegaon blast in which RDX was used, had supplied RDX for the Samjhauta blast though one ‘Bhagwan’. [The Indian Express 15.11.2008] within the next 48 hours [17.11.2009] India Today online refuted the ATS claim saying that Samjhauta investigators had told India Today that study of the blast carried out by the National Security Guard said that no RDX, but Pottasium Cholorate and Sulphur had been used as explosives. The magazine also recalled that immediately after the blasts, then Home Minister Shivraj Patil told the media that not RDX, but, a ‘new type of explosive’ had been used to bomb the Samjhauta Express. On that very day [17.11.2009] the ATS counsel retracted from the statement he had made earlier involving Col Purohit in the Samjhauta blast. [The Hindu dt19.11.2008]. But damage was done in the 48 hours. Immediately Pakistan said that it would raise the issue of Purohit’s involvement in Samjhauta in the Secretaries level meeting on November 25, 2008. Finally on January 20, 2009, Maharastra ATS officially denied that Col Purohit had supplied RDX for Samjhauta. This was how the Samjhauta focus – later the blame – shifted from LeT and SIMI to Purohit and via Purohit on to saffron.

The Maharashtra ATS attempt to link Malegaon 2008 to Samjhauta which shifted the focus away from LeT on to Purohit needs to be probed, particularly given Dawood Ibrahim’s deep influence in Maharastra Police.

If Shinde is telling the truth, then United Nations Security Council and the US Treasury Department are fabricating charges against Qasmani, Dawood and LeT; Faiza Outallah and Washington Post are telling lies to fix LeT and Pakistan; the SIMI officials’ narco evidence is fabricated; and Rehman Mallik’s confession about Pakistani involvement is false. Can it be more ridiculous? It is clearly the lies of Shinde, the vote-bank politician versus all neutral evidence. If this was how the Samjhauta probe was perverted, in Malegaon 2006 blast the Maharashtra ATS has filed a charge sheet where SIMI cadre has confessed to their role in the blast. But the CBI is procuring confessions to exonerate them and implicate others, Hindus in the case.  So Malegaon 2006, is becoming a case of confession vs confession! In Malegaon 2008, blasts Col Purohit and his associates have been charged and the evidence produced to the Court shows that the accused in the Malegaon 2008 case were planning to assassinate the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Indresh Kumar for taking money from ISI! [Outlook 19.7.2010] How could the RSS which is the target of the conspirator itself be a conspirator ? Does Shinde know what he is talking ?

The entire episode smacks of a sinister conspiracy for political gains. We hope that the judiciary would take cognisance of the matter and conduct an honest and genuine probe.

Should we consider ‘Partition of Bharat’ as an ‘Established Truth’ ?

Partition of Bharat is not an established truth. So why should it be regarded as an ‘Established Truth’?
Just as prior to independence, realization of independence was the primary inspiration for every patriot, post independence the dream of ‘Akhand Bharat’ should have been the main inspiration for each & every patriot and they should have been in continuous action to realize this dream.

But it is extremely unfortunate that except a few individuals, people in general do not even think about ‘Akhand Bharat’ today. The reason for this is that the partition of Bharat has been accepted as an ‘established truth’. People do say the that partition was absolutely wrong, it should not have happened but wonder what can be done about it now? Partition is a reality but is it realistically possible that it can be undone now? It is due to this that people do not even think about partition and ‘Akhand Bharat’. Hence it is absolutely important that the thought of this being an ‘established truth’ be removed from the minds on our people. Come, let us consider few instances from our history that seemed as ‘established truths’.

Thousands of years ago the Jews had to migrate out of their homeland Israel. If this were to be seen in a certain point of view, it seemed to be an ‘established truth’. But the profound determination of the Jews changed this ‘established truth’ and today they live in their homeland.

Germany was partitioned after the second world war. The favour with which it was accomplished, it seemed that this partition would be for eternity. But today Germany is united as earlier.
Just a few years earlier the USSR was one of the two world powers. Today it has been fragmented into various countries and has secured the status as ‘former’ USSR!

Prior to 1970,none ever imagined the existence of Bangladesh. But in 1971 it became a reality.
Several years prior to the partition of Bharat, it seemed as if it never would happen for real. It was due to this that Jawaharlal Nehru had termed the demand for partition as ‘fantastic nonsense’ and had derided those demanding partition by saying, “Those who talk of partition live in fools paradise”. But the partition of Bharat indeed happened in 1947.

History is replete with many such instances that seem to be impossible. So why should the partition of Bharat be regarded as an ‘established truth’? With determination and through constant efforts this can certainly be reversed. This thought to be the thinking of each resident of Bharat.

Patel and his Reminiscence

Out of many issues, Kashmir issue was one which remained unresolved even after death of Sardar Patel. It was felt, if he was given free hand to resolve the Kashmir dispute, he would have resolved that as effectively as he resolved Hyderabad annexation problem. Sardar Patel had himself mentioned this to Mr. H. V. Kamath "Had Javahar Lal Nehru and Gopalswamy Iyenger not interfered in Kashmir Dispute, I would have resolved it the same way I resolved the Huderabad Issue".

It must be noted that Mr. Nehru was not at all in favor of Army intervention in Hyderabad. He suggested that it will destabilize the region and wanted the army intervention to end immediately. Well known Congress stalwart leader Prof. N. G. Ranga believed that the delayed action in Hyderabad was caused by Nehru, Maulana Azad and Lord Louis Mountbatten. He recounts that Sardar Patel felt that, had he taken Nehru's suggestions in consideration, Hyderabad issue would have never been resolved. Similar suggestions were given by Maulana Azad and Mountbatten.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad writes in 1959 "Today India is being discussed around the glove because of Sardar Patel's visionary leadership and will power." He adds "Even now we are not giving his due credit". Sartar Patel kept the situation in control even when India was facing such turbulent situation. How did he keep grip on such situation? its something we can learn from his life story...

Chakravarti Rajgopalachari writes this after 25 years of choosing of first Prime Minister of India 'It would have been undoubtly better if Sardar Patel would have been our PM and Nehru our Foreign minister. Had Sardar been alive for few more years, he would have definitely reached the Prime Minster post, something which he deserved. We would not have faced Kashmir, Tibbat, China and various outer issues we face today.'

Its a pity that politicians ignored his legacy after his death and did not give him credit which he deserved.

Is Arvind Kejriwal copying BJP?

Of late, the Aam Aadmi Party leader has become much of a darling for the media. Apparently he has come up with a number of innovative campaigning tactics. However, once you scratch beneath the surface, you realize that the Aam Aadmi Party hasn’t exactly started anything innovative but seems to be learning some old tricks from the experienced ones, the BJP in particular.

Here’s a list of issues and tactics generally being peddled as AAP’s trademarks but were in fact taken up first by the BJP first:

1.      Bijli Andolan: In 2003, Vijay Goel, when he was a Minister in the NDA, was the first one to tell off the Sheila Dikshit Government to stop complaining about power outages. In 2010, the BJP again started an agitation against Sheila Dikshit for hike in electricity prices. The same issues were taken up by Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal in 2013. Unfortunately, the people of Delhi have conveniently bought the lie that the BJP hasn’t done anything on the issue of electricity, which is a complete lie peddled by the Aam Aadmi Party. (Reference)
Bijli Marathon organized by Vijay Goel (Lok Abhiyan) in protest of fast running power meters: Date- Sept12, 2005

(Bijli Rally – The biggest Bijli Andolan ever to happen in Delhi: Date – 12 Aug, 2013)

2.      Manifesto Campaign: As early as 2008, when the BJP was forming the committee to develop the manifesto for the city, Delhi’ites were encouraged to give their suggestions to the BJP office at the time. Now that the times have changed, internet is being used to take suggestions from the people. What the AAP is wishing for is already a reality in case of the BJP. (Reference)

3.      Campaigning during morning walks: Once again, it was Vijay Goel who back in 2009 made an effort to engage with voters in person during morning walks. Quoting a newspaper article published in Times of India. (Reference)

“BJP's candidate from New Delhi is trying to jog his way to the voters' hearts. Vijay Goel a former Union minister during the NDA rule and now the party choice against Ajay Maken of the Congress has adopted a new way of campaigning. To get an opportunity to interact with the elite electorate and area residents who take early morning walks, Goel is regularly going jogging in the parks of the New Delhi constituency.”

4.      Janata Adalats: It was the BJP’s Vijay Goel who started holding Jan Adalats in his Chandni Chownk Constituency. The same concept was the inspiration behind Aam Aadmi Party’s Mohalla Sabhas. The Jan Adalats are still held by the BJP all over the city. (Reference)

5.      Electoral Issues: Vijay Goel raised the VAT issue in support of traders back in the year 2005. To this date, the BJP keeps putting forth VAT concerns by raising the issue in public, time and again. Now Kejriwal has also spoken about it.  (Reference) He has said he will demand a fair deal for vendors and hawkers but the same has been raised by the BJP for a long time now. (Reference)

AAP’s ‘Call Delhi’ campaign too is copied from the much popular Obama campaign (Reference). Though there may be couple of things that have been tried with certain modifications, it will be naive to believe the campaign is highly innovative and something that has never done before.

The problem is that since certain Aam Aadmis have recently entered into political arena, they think whatever they do hasn’t been tried ever in the history of Indian Politics. I will rather ask them to study about election campaigns in details. If they are so bent on claiming to execute a creative campaign, didn’t they notice that AAP’s banal android app is a mindless copy of Modi’s mobile application, or AAP caps being copied from those worn in RSS since its inception? Did no party ever use public transport for election campaigning? It’s time people come out of delusions and embrace the facts.
